Housing services during Covid 19
Whilst some housing services may be affected by the current pandemic, most office-based staff are able to work remotely in order to keep key services running. We will continue to try and provide you with the best possible service during this time.

Supporting documentation
Please note that all supporting documents such as identification and bank statements must be uploaded to your online application.  Applications will be closed if the required supporting documents are not uploaded to your application within 28 days.

A signed declaration form must be uploaded to all applications. This form can be downloaded for you to print and sign, or we can arrange for it to be posted to you

HomeChoice is a way of allocating social housing through choice, giving you a greater say over where you live. HomeChoice allows you to choose which available properties you want to be considered for.

Please note that shared ownership housing is not allocated through HomeChoice. If you want to know more about options for low cost home ownership, please visit

Social housing available to rent is advertised every week on HomeChoice. The advertising period starts on a Wednesday and finishes at midnight on Monday, one week later. This may vary occasionally to allow for holiday periods such as Christmas. You must be eligible for social housing and have an active HomeChoice application in order to place a bid on advertised social housing.
